Configuration

  1. Open Transports.
  2. Enable the transport you want to use.
  3. Mark one enabled transport as Default.
  4. Click Manage for that transport and enter its provider settings.
  5. Use Send Test Email from the transport screen before routing real site mail.
  6. Open Settings and enable Route ExpressionEngine email through Mailroom when you are ready for EE email sends to use Mailroom.

Core Settings

  • Default Transport: the transport Mailroom uses for routed ExpressionEngine email.
  • Default From Email/Name/Reply-To: fallback sender values used when the original message does not provide them.
  • Dev/Staging Mode: normal sending, capture only, redirect all, or suppress all.
  • Route ExpressionEngine email through Mailroom: enables the ExpressionEngine email_send hook so template forms and core sends flow through Mailroom.
  • Allowlist Domains: domains allowed during capture/redirect rules.
