Overview

Docsmith is an ExpressionEngine add-on for creating and managing Markdown-based documentation libraries directly inside EE. It lets you publish standalone docs for individual add-ons, group multiple libraries into a shared documentation portal, manage versions, build navigation, reuse snippets, generate search indexes, and safely render code examples without ExpressionEngine parsing them.

It also supports internal control-panel documentation, so agencies or site builders can surface help content inside EE publish/edit screens for client training, publishing guidelines, channel instructions, and workflow notes. Each library can include a library-level license page, starter frontend templates, custom styling, and search-ready rendered output.
